Welcome to the Explosion 5000.
Andy Aupperlee is commercial and editorial photographer based in Seattle, Washington. He also publishes The Andy Aupperlee Explosion 5000, a photo blog that features his original photography and writing.
Andy’s work has been featured in National Geographic, The New York Times, The Chicago Sun-Times, Three Imaginary Girls and several other online blogs and news sources. As the official still and publicity photographer for The World Series of Beer Pong IV, several of Andy’s photos have been featured in ads, television and news articles. During the summer of 2009, The Newseum in Washington DC exhibited one of Andy’s photos as a part of the FotoWeek DC sponsored FOTOBAMA Exhibition. The photo is currently on display as a part of FotoWeek DC.
